 Today I was not in class.

 Today we did not do anything in class.

 Today I took the final exam for American Literature. It was pretty straight forward even though I was taking my time. In the end I was able to finish the exam before class ended.

 I was not in class today. I was taking the make up exam for AP US History.

 Today we had more time to catch up on missing work. A few of my classmates took the final exam.

 Today our teacher gave us time to catch up on missing work. Overall, class was chill.

 Today we finished our worksheets for the movie, "On the Way to School." I only managed to finish the questions but not the paragraph at the end. Class was pretty boring

 Today are teacher was not here so we watched a movie. The class was pretty boring. However, I was able to work on assignments for other courses.

 Today we watched a movie called, "On the Way to School." In the movie children in 3rd world countries make their way to school. Their journeys tend to be long and rough. These children are usually motivated by improving their living conditions or meeting their family's expectations. As an citizen of the United States, students here are not as motivated to go to school as children living in other countries.

 Today we presented our projects. Our project was on, the Philippines. In between presenting our presentation, we watched our classmates presentations. You could really see the quality of everyone's work. After presenting, we had a free period in class.

Today we had a free period to catch up on missing work. 

 Today I missed the AP US History exam. I sat in class and worked on my classwork packet.

 Today we took the AP statistics exam.

 Today we finished our group project. I mainly worked on the food slide. We finished the presentation and had a free period.

Today Ms. Cook read us a story about a girl who was captured by pirates. We then completed discussion questions related to the story. Finally, we were put into groups to work on a group project. The project is on Asian countries. We chose the Philippines for our project.

  Today we worked on a website called "Common App". This site helps students apply to colleges faster. As a class we set up our accounts, picked our colleges of interest then worked on our essays. The essay had to be at least 250 words and a max of 650. In my essay, I answered the question, what was an accomplishment that I made that sparked a period of growth?
