Reflection Day 10

 Today was a pretty chill day, we worked on vocabulary words for the unit test on Friday. Nothing exciting happened other than seeing my fellow classmates.

Reflection Day 15

 Today we read and analyzed a few poems by Emily Dickinson. In my opinion, her poems are depressing. In one poem she changes her perspective at a funeral in which she is the person in the casket. In another poem she talks about a break up and having to forget about the person she was recently in love with to save her heart. Other than that, the lesson was pretty solid.

Reflection Day 36

Today, my group and I presented our analysis for the short story called "Ambush". It's a fictional short story about a soldier in the Vietnam war who experienced his first kill. The story shows how killing someone can affect one mind. After presenting our project, we listened to our other classmates who barely managed to complete theirs. After the presentation, we answered additional questions about the story.

Reflection Day 25

 Today, we went over our presentation due Friday. Our presentation is about black-owned businesses in Atlanta, Georgia. I was pretty excited because I was able to find a business for each category quickly. The categories include Restaurants, Specialty Restaurants, Fitness Centers, Grocery Stores, Barber shops or Beauty salons, Clothing Stores, Real Estate, and Car Repair. I can't wait to show off my presentation.
